How to enroll Users on Biometric G1 and G2 clocks & Troubleshooting Punches on Another Users Timesheet

Genus G1 User Enroll

 

Step 1: Push the black square between the    0 and    ↓ (down arrow) keys followed immediately by the Clock Out button.

Step 2: Enter Admin pin (default is 123)

Step 3: Select Enroll User

Step 4: Enter Device ID

Step 5: Place a finger on scanner x2

Step 6: The user is enrolled. 

 

The Device ID field is located within the website in the Employee's Profile underneath the Employee ID. This number needs to match whatever number the employee is enrolled with.

 

 

Genus G2 User Enroll

 

Step 1: Press F8 

Step 2: Enter Admin Pin (defaulted to 123)

Step 3: Click the button for Enroll User

Step 4: Enter Device ID number then press Enter

Step 5: Place a finger on the scanner and follow what the screen prompts, placing your finger multiple times to get a good template for the clock. 

Step 6: YOU'RE DONE! The user is now enrolled in that clock.

 

 

When troubleshooting an issue with a user's time showing up on another employee's timesheet have the customer delete the stored fingerprint entry for the user. Since the time clock stores specific points of a fingerprint and does not store actual images of the fingerprint they may want to reenroll the user by having them use another finger other than the one that was used previously. Also, make sure that the image reader is clean and that there is no debris or dirt stuck on the image reader.
