Cannot Charge a Pay Type and Exceed Core Hours

Description on Site: Employee cannot charge to pay type and exceed some number core hours on a timesheet.

 This rule states that an employee cannot charge to a specified pay type and exceed a specified number of core hours on a timesheet.  If an employee has the pay type on their timesheet, and attempts to exceed the total number of hours specified, regardless of which pay type those hours are charged to, they will get an error message stating “You cannot charge [PAY TYPE] and exceed [X] hours on your timesheet.

Set so that an employee cannot charge more than 40 hours to Bisons Regular

 

 

 

Employee had a total of 42 hours on the timesheet with Bisons Regular Pay type, and had the error message. After removing the Bisons Regular Paytype, and changing it ti Bisons Project, the timesheet was accepted.
