Timesheet Data Backup & Archive Site Options

The following three options are available to choose from for saving or archiving TeamKeeper timesheet data:

1. Archive Site Option: Price - $86.25 monthly charge
    • If you choose this option, we will transition your live site to what we refer to as an "Archive Site". Your current site will remain active with only the System Admin user account enabled. All other active user accounts will be end-dated (disabled) and your account's licenses will be modified to one user. The cost of this option is a monthly charge of $86.25.
    • We will review your subscription agreement before the archive site conversion. If you are on an annual year-to-year plan this could effect when your website can be converted to an archive site based on your current subscription agreement.
    • The site will remain active until you contact our support team or billing department to shut down the archive site and cancel the monthly billing charge of $86.25. (A 30-day notice of cancellation will be required when you are no longer in need of using the archive website if you are on a month-to-month subscription agreement. A 45-day notice of cancellation will be required if you are on a year-to year subscription agreement.)

2. SQL Database Backup - $250 one-time charge
    • If you choose this option, we will save a backup of your TeamKeeper site's database to a file that we will transfer to you via our Beyond Trust Secure File Transfer option.
    • A quote will be generated for this request and sent to you to review and sign. We will forward the signed quote to our finance department for processing. Once payment has been received we will proceed with processing your SQL Database Backup request.
    • If you're not familiar with what a SQL Database is, it's a database that stores everything that is saved on your TeamKeeper site, including employees, codes, leave, historical logs, etc. This SQL backup is your TeamKeeper site's data in its rawest form. It will require someone who can use Microsoft SQL Server and its management programs to be able to bring together tables to view specific data. If you choose the file transfer option, we will email you a link to retrieve the file that will be available for 7 days.
    • This option can be useful in the event that you choose to have TeamKeeper restore your site in the future with its original data for auditing purposes, or if you choose to use our services again in the future. Unfortunately, this option does not include training on how to view this data and create scripts or queries from TeamKeeper Support or Development employees, or instructions on how to use this data in other applications.
    • The support services agent assigned to your case will include details on the version of SQL the backup file will be formatted in.

3.  Manually Save Timesheet Data – No charge for this option
    • If you choose this option, you can manually save your site's timesheets as PDFs from either the Review Timesheets menu option or the View Multiple Timesheets menu option. The amount of timesheet data varies by customer, but below is a sample of how to print timesheets to PDF through your preferred browser that has been helpful to many of our customers who need to print or save multiple timesheets.
    • The instructions on how to perform this option are as follows:
      • Log in to your site using your preferred browser and navigate to Supervisor > View Multiple Timesheets.
      • Select your Group, or All Groups that you would like to filter for timesheets.
      • Note: You can uncheck the “Only Active Employees” option if you also need the timesheets of inactive employees.
      • Once open, click the “Select All” option to load all employees within your group filter.
      • Choose the Timesheet End Date range you need to download. If your submission times out, you may need to break up the date ranges into two or more segments due to the amount of data being processed.
      • Check the “Exclude users without timesheets in the period” box and format the download for Print.
      • Click Submit and save the resulting webpage as a PDF. If you're not sure how, please consult the following guide: https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/how-to-save-a-webpage-as-a-pdf/
